Editing images is an underrated part of the creative process in photography. For many photographers, it can be the limiting factor to stronger images (whether they are aware of it or not). Good processing skills can often make the difference between a great image and an exceptional one.

In this introduction to post-processing, Paul will discuss the importance of editing, and the tools and procedures he feels are most useful to photographers (pulling primarily from his personal toolkit). Topics include:

  • the editing workflow, step-by-step – from the download too organizing the images and basic global adjustments in Camera Raw and Lightroom
  • local adjustments and advanced tools within those applications.
  • preparing your images for web and print use, sharpening, watermarking
  • what Photoshop can do for you

ABOUT PAUL ZIZKA

Specializing in photographing in difficult conditions and hard-to-reach places, Paul has a passion for shooting alpine sports and backcountry experiences, capturing the spirit of adventurers and finding unusual angles of common mountain subjects. Photography Level – ALL: This event is open to both amateur and professional photographers.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Spots are non-refundable but are transferrable (i.e. if the participant is able to find someone else to take their spot and can sell/transfer the spot to a new participant, this is acceptable).

This workshop must have a minimum of 12 participants to run. Paul Zizka Photography will issue a full refund in the case that the workshop is canceled.
