Happy Canada Day – Canadian Inspirations

Happy Canada Day everyone! Today I just want to give a shout out to fellow Canadian photographers from across the country who inspire me to get out there. Here we go, province (territory) by province (territory):

Bow Lake, Banff National Park.
Bow Lake, Banff National Park.

Alberta: I invite you to check out what my good friends John Marriott and Brandon Brown do around here. Get ready for some stunning wildlife work. They also both run Facebook pages. John’s is here and Brandon’s over here.

British Columbia: Nick Fitzhardinge consistently comes up with great work from BC. Here’s his website. Also look him up on Facebook.

Manitoba: I have really been enjoying the scenes captured by Daniel Menheer. Check out his site here.

New Brunswick: Freeman Patterson has a fantastic body of work. Have a look here.

Newfoundland: Lately I have been really impressed with the work of Dru Kennedy. He is very active on Facebook and also has a great website.

Northwest Territories: You have got to check out Dave Brosha’s work if you haven’t yet. A constant source of inspiration for me. His Facebook page is here and you’ll find his website here.

Nunavut: Pangnirtung-based David Kilabuk really makes me want to plan another trip up north. Check out his great take on the Arctic landscape here on Facebook and on the web.

Ontario: I really like the work of Toronto-based Henry Liu. Check out his Ontario galleries here.

Prince Edward Island: I am glad I found Stephen Desroches’ work a couple of years ago. I have been closely following his photography since.

Quebec: I highly recommend you take a few minutes (which may turn into a few hours) of your time to have a look at Francis Gagnon’s fantastic work from La Belle Province.

Saskatchewan: Branimir Gjetval portrays the province beautifully here. Well worth a look.

Yukon: Nicolas Dory get as close as possible to doing justice to this fine corner of our country. Check out his landscape and wildlife images here, or on Facebook here.

Have a great weekend everyone!
