Matterhorn of the Himalayas

Another image of spectacular Ama Dablam, often referred to as the “Matterhorn of the Himalayas” due to its resemblance to the famous peak that straddles the Swiss/Italy border. This “Nepalese” version of the Matterhorn is in fact over 2,000m higher than its European counterpart, and had it not been for its exotic location, we would likely be speaking today of the “Ama Dablam of the Alps” instead. Ama Dablam from near Tengboche, Nepal.
