Annapurna Alpenglow
The immense south face of Annapurna at dawn. The dry, thin air makes distances extremely deceiving in the Himalaya. The face is 4 kilometres high and was first climber by a British team in 1970. Annapurna Base Camp, Nepal.

f/4.0, 1s, ISO 800, 31.0mm on Canon EF17-50mm f/4L USM, Mk II body.
