Golden morning light bathes the summit ridges of Tilicho Peak (front) and massive Annapurna, viewed here from the north. It is from this side that the French made the first ascent of an 8,000m peak in 1950. After having read so much about the famous mountain, it was truly a special moment to finally be able to marvel at its size and feel its “presence”. More images of Annapurna coming in the next posts. Annapurna from Syanboche Hills, Mustang, Nepal.
