Back to beautiful Nunavut for today’s image. I seldom do panoramas but thought the immenseness of the Baffin Island mountainscape lent itself to that format. Auyuittuq National Park has to be one of the most underrated wild spaces in the world. The landscape is straight out of a Tolkien novel, with every peak more dramatic and jagged than the next. This is the unforgettable view from Summit Lake. One day I hope to return when the temperatures are warmer than -40 C… Summit Lake, Auyuittuq National Park, Baffin Island, Nunavut, Canada.
