Canopy of Gold
This week I thought we could celebrate the arrival of fall in the Canadian Rockies. Autumn is many photographers’ favourite time of year for photographing the Rockies, and I can really see why. The larches and aspens turn gold, the bugs vanish, the deep blue skies, the willows and shrubs exploding with colour, the fresh dustings of snow… So much to work with. Every day this week I will post a shot from a location that particularly appeals to me this time of year. Today’s is Muleshoe and its fabulous aspens. If you get a chance over the next couple of weeks, drive 15 minutes west of Banff on the Bow Valley Parkway and see the magic happen.
