Summer in the Meadows
A shot taken on a fine morning on the Minnewanka Loop last week during a photo tour of Banff National Park. After shooting spectacular sunrise at Two Jack Lake, we stopped at these flowery meadows at the base of Cascade Mountain and talked about hyperfocal distances, the importance of picking the best subject out of hundreds of similar ones, and about always checking the edges of the frame for unwanted or cut-off objects. I hope I did an OK job at illustrating all of that! Cascade Meadows, Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada.
