This photograph was taken on a recent stay in the Bow Lake area. A few of us made the trip to fabulous Iceberg Lake for time-lapse photography purposes but we also brought an inflatable kayak along, which made for great up close exploration of the Bow Glacier while the cameras were doing their thing. I absolutely love the feeling of remoteness that comes with paddling a lake that is located several kilometres from the road. This photo shows the very source of the Bow River – those waterfalls coning off the Bow Glacier. Iceberg Lake, Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada.
